Parents of PDAers Book Club

Parents and caregivers are invited to join our 8-week virtual book club, where, at the request of book club members, we will be delving into how we can meaningfully care for ourselves while caring for our children with unique nervous system needs. We will be reading and discussing Real Self Care: A Transformative Program for Redefining Wellness by Pooja Lakshmin, MD. Smithsonian Morning at the Museum: https://access.si.edu/program/morning-museum - a monthly sensory friendly hour at a Smithsonian museum.

Workhouse Arts Center: The campus is usually quiet Wednesday and Thursday 11am-6pm. Check the website www.workhousearts.org for scheduled classes and events.

LEGO stores are ensuring they are sensory friendly spaces and the LEGO Discovery Center has instituted Sensory Friendly Mornings.
