EDUCATION
AT WING, WE FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT KNOWLEDGE IS KEY TO EMPOWERMENT AND PROGRESS. OUR COMMITMENT TO NEURODIVERSITY-AFFIRMING EDUCATION DRIVES US TO PROVIDE AND CONNECT FOLKS WITH A WIDE RANGE OF RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS THAT EMPOWER NEURODIVERGENT INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
Our educational initiatives are thoughtfully crafted to provide individuals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge and skills essential for effectively understanding and supporting neurodivergent folks. We firmly believe that education serves as a potent instrument in dispelling misconceptions and breaking down barriers created by ableism.
We are deeply committed to offering accessible, pay-what-you-can educational opportunities to support the neurodivergent community. Our main event is our quarterly Autism 101 virtual workshop that is a first step in learning what Autism really is and dispelling the myths our culture tells us. We are also available to help businesses, schools, and other organizations learn about neurodivergence, being neurodiversity affirming, and tackling ableism within the organization.
If you choose to engage in WING’s professional services, our skilled facilitators will provide neurodiversity training that recognizes the uniqueness of each organization we partner with. Our team can customize education and training programs to meet your specific requirements, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for the neurodivergent individuals you serve.
Our neurodiversity experts also offer impactful speaking engagements at conferences, workshops, and events. They bring forth a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences to capture your audience while fostering their understanding of neurodivergence.
